Alpaqa Studio operates on a per-user subscription licensing model. Licenses can be purchased with a monthly or yearly billing plan, with volume discounts applied to larger teams.

During your subscription you will get access to always up-to-date software. If you do not renew your license by the last date of your subscription you will no longer have access to the software. Alpaqa Studio has renewal reminders in the application, as well as a dedicated Renewal Team to assist in the renewal process.

Our licensing model is based on named users. Only one individual, a named person, is permitted to use a named user license. Multiple people cannot share a product login. Please note that you can transfer a license to another user once per month.

Yes! We train and onboard all your users! Each purchase qualifies you and your team to sign-up for our onboarding session with one of our team members. Please note that in case of larger teams we will offer group sessions instead of individual onboarding sessions.

Yes! Alpaqa Studio was built from the start with the highest security standards in mind to comply with the requirements of our customers around the world.

Infrastructure:

The Alpaqa Studio infrastructure is hosted on Microsoft Azure. Microsoft Azure has more compliance certifications than any other cloud provider (view the comprehensive list https://www.microsoft.com/trustcenter/compliance/complianceofferings).

Processing data of a customer (connecting to a database and interacting with the data) happens from an isolated container instance. Every instance is isolated in the network and is uniquely deployed for each customer. We destroy each container when a user signs out and never re-use these containers.

Bulk operations and background tasks are non-interactive and are processed by a dedicated infrastructure with task isolation at the process and application level.

Encryption:

All information is encrypted.  We use Azure Cosmos DB to store data and use built-in support for encryption at rest and in-transit. All transmissions from the application to the end-user are SSL encrypted. All keys and user secrets are securely stored in Azure Key Vault and only service principals assigned to our applications have permissions to access them.
